Toddler learning crafts are a fun and "crafty" way you can teach them new things. Kids crafts can cover basic learning like colors, shapes, the five senses and more. You can also have fun learning about animals, flowers and trees, the 4 seasons and more. The ideas are endless when it comes to learning and having fun. Many items your kids make can even be used for additional toddler activities that further enhance their minds and the knowledge they absorb. Take for instance a simple craft idea like making binoculars.
This can be made with simple cardboard tubes like a toilet paper roll. This would show them all about the circle shape. Have them decorate it with many colors so that they also are introduced to the different colors. When they are done with their binoculars they can take them outside and see the world through their new binoculars. This helps them learn all about the sense of sight. So with one simple, inexpensive and easy project they are learning many different basic skills.

As you make your Christmas gifts or decorations, add an activity or story reading time to help your little ones understand the meaning or Christmas. Having a fun activity planned in addition to the crafts makes for great family time and learning for the kids. So when your kids are making their stuffed paper bag turkey, have them tell you what they know of the Pilgrims and the "First Thanksgiving". Give them some history of your Thanksgiving growing up and what traditions your family had. Look for coloring pages, worksheets and other fun activities to keep them interested and the knowledge pouring in.

It's a great way for little ones to learn something new, develop new skills and create something unique and made just by them. So grab some craft supplies, put on your thinking cap, use your imagination and make something fun - and learn something in the process.
